We
are a serious 'folk' dance side, meaning that we are a congregation
of folk who gather together to ritualistically declare our
allegiance to carefully contrived 'traditions' through the
meduim of dance.
One
of these traditions is contemporary morris dance. Some would
say that we strike a good balance between traditional and
contemporary folk dancing. We are proud members of Open
Morris, a fantastic organisation, who allow us to perform
our public antics legally in a number of interesting places.
We have a striking green and black costume and perform a
number of stick dances, as well as some entertaining chants
and songs.
